Title: "Archetypal Pulse", 2004
Notes: "In this piece I tried to show an archetypal realm pulsating through a blue
lotus-like flower, symbolizing a deeper order or pattern to manifestation.
Every form in manifestation seeks greater and greater perfection and
freedom, but never quite reaches it. As form manifests out of Emptiness, the
first forms that arise are the archetypes, the basic forms or patterns upon
which all lesser forms depend. The deepest depth or desire of all form in
the manifest is the formless or unmanifest Emptiness, which itself can be
found no where in the realm of form, but rather is the Emptiness of each and
every form. Contemplating these deeper universal patterns by which the
Kosmos strives to realize itSelf can help give us direction and help us see
how we are connected to this infinite creative process of Self realization
in the universe as the universe. The archetypes can show us order and
consistancy in a universe of chaos and change, these are the
finger-prints of God."
