Artist Statement: "I use a Wacom tablet and a program called Painter which allows you to work in a variety of natural media (oils, acrylic, watercolor, etc). Combined with its brush generator, paper texture manipulation, and palette mixer you can get results which emulate the real deal-- I call it digital oil because I try and maintain a traditional feel of oil (in terms of color blending and leaving some brush strokes as opposed to a more airbrushed feel typical of most digital work) I have only begun to work this way but I think the digital medium is fantastic!"
